Programs: In addition to our mission we offer support groups for families and friends of ex-offenders. Meetings are now held every Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Staben Center. Contact the coalition for additional information.

Re-Claim, Re-Connect & Re-Enter

Waukegan Township, as a member of the Coalition to Reduce Recidivism, is dedicated to assisting members of our community who are experiencing employment difficulties as a result of  convictions.

Re-claim, Re-connect & Re-enter is designed to increase the number and quality of job opportunities available to adults with criminal records.

Each program participant will meet with an Employment Specialist for one-on-one assessment and career goal planning.  Participants may  be referred to work in  conjuncture with other area organizations or programs, such as, Workforce Development, Lake County Urban League, and College of Lake County, or Earnfare in order to expand their employability opportunities.
