Wisconsin Black Historical Society Museum
Celebrating African American History month, Park Place will travel to Wisconsin Black Historical Society Museum Tuesday February 17, 2009. There we will experience different exhibits, the Civil Rights Tribute and Work’N in the Promised Land “The African American Labor Experience in Wisconsin”.  See the world unfold before your eyes from ancient Egyptian civilization to early African American settlers in rural Wisconsin.  A larger than life panorama of African-American history glimpse of modern life of blacks in Milwaukee.  Join us for a cultural experience and lunch.  The cost is $??  per person.  Bus departs Park Place 8:45 a.m. return 1:30 p.m.  Deadline: February 2, 2009.

Wednesday, February 25th

Miss Saigon
Created by “Les Miserables” team Alain Boublil and Claude Michel Schonberg, Miss Saigon which is a Broadway’s longest running musical of all time!  Set in a war torn Saigon in 1975, is a love story of epic proportions.  This extraordinary and soul-stirring musical renders haunting melodies such as “The Heat is on in Saigon” and “The American Dream.” Join us Wednesday, February 25, 2009 as we travel to Drury Lane Theater in Oakbrook Terrace to find why Miss Saigon is the longest running musical ever.  The cost is $62 per person, which includes lunch, show and transportation.  Minimum 26 to go. Drury Lane Theatre Presents "Curtains"
CURTAINS takes place at Boston’s  Theatre in 1959. It’s the opening night of “Robin’ Hood of the Old West” incredibly untalented leading lady is murdered during the curtain call, Lieutenant Frank Cioffi is summoned to conduct an investigation. The lure of the theater soon becomes irresistible to the stage.  The detective finds himself just as dedicated to making the show a hit, as to solving the murder.  Join us Wednesday, April 29th as we travel to Drury Lane to be indulge in CURTAINS murder, mystery and mayhem.  The cost is $ 62 per person, which includes lunch, show and transportation.  Minimum 20 needed for trip  to go.

Take this tour and learn about the rich diversity of Chicago neighborhoods. Visit the near west side neighborhoods of Greek Town and Little Italy where Greeks and Italians first settled. Enjoy vibrant Chinatown on the near south side. Browse the Chinatown Square and dozens of shops. Bus departs Park Place 8:30 am and returns 2:30 pm. Cost includes lunch at an Italian restaurant in Little Italy. Minimum 20 needed to go.

The Legacy Girls - Andrews Sisters Musical
Take a unique journey back in time to the boogie-woogie days of the 30s and 40s, with three part harmony, costumes and synchronized dances.
