Cost:	$50- Pre-registration is required and fee must be paid prior to receiving completion certificate. Class size is limited to 20.

 

The Waukegan Township Supervisor's office under the leadership of Ms. Patricia Jones is sponsoring a five-session seminar on Anger Management for men and women. A sixth seminar has been added for makeup of a missed session.

These seminars will focus on the connection between anger, power, violence, drugs and alcohol. Participants will examine ways this connection can lead to violence and controlling behaviors that effect relationships. A series of exercises, lectures, and group discussions will help man and women break the cycle and reclaim their feelings and learn to express anger without violence. Displaying assertive behaviors and creative choice making will also be addressed. Weekly journals will be required. No individual assessments or group therapy will be provided either before or after class competition. Certificates will be awarded for completion of the program. Class size is limited to 20.
