Chuck is married to Yvonne Willms for 54 years with 6 children, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

Education
Chuck has a B.A. in Business Administration from Lake Forest College, IL.

Professional
Chuck worked with the U.S. Navy as a Department Program Manager for 23 years. He also worked for the Social Security Administration as an Administrative Officer for five years. For the past nine years, Chuck has been employed by the Waukegan Public School District #60 as a substitute teacher. In addition to his B.A., Chuck holds an Illinois Type 39 Substitute Teacher Certificate.

Memberships, Volunteer Services or other Public Service
Chuck has served on the Boards of: Great Lake Credit Union (Director) for seven years, Illinois Education FAcility Authority for nine years, Lake County Regional Planning Commissioner for 14 years. Chuck is also a member of AARP, American Legion, Coalition Latino Unides of Lake County, Illinois Sheriff's Association, Knights of Columbus Local Order of the Moose, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Retired Steel Workers Retiree's Club, Waukegan Main Street, Waukegan Park District Friends of Benny, and the YWCA.

Chuck also is a supporter of numerous Waukegan community events and festivities.
