Explore this beautiful Barrington estate, featuring one of the world's finest collections of restored, automatic musical instruments and other, turn-of-the-century antiques. We will spend 3 hours with a docent touring the 44,000 square foot estate holds a world-class collection of antique technological wonders. We will enjoy a delicious lunch at Chessie’s.

This tour will provide a fresh, inspiring experience in one of the most unique cultural and commercial districts in Chicago. Our tour will be led by Eduardo Arocho, who has over 26 years of experience leading tours of Chicago's Puerto Rican community. He is a historian, poet, arts/community activist, entrepreneur, and tour guide with first-hand knowledge of Humboldt Park, the Puerto Rican community in Chicago, and Puerto Rican history. This tour includes lunch at an authentic, family owned, Puerto Rican Restaurant. 

We will depart Park Place at 9:00 a.m. and will return after 3:00 p.m. The fee of $70 covers all tours, lunch, and transportation.

We will start our adventure with a delicious early lunch at the Starved Rock Lodge, then set out to explore the history and beauty of the Starved Rock area. This tour includes both a one-hour trolley tour and the river cruise. The Eagle 1 will take us on a leisurely, open air, ride down the Illinois River to enjoy the fall colors.

Criminals, Gangsters & Mobsters Tour of Chicago,

Illinois Holocaust Museum and

Take history to heart at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center. We will visit the museum to explore events leading to the Holocaust, hear survival stories, and find hope moving forward. 

The exhibit, Ghost Army: The Combat Con Artists of World War II tells the heroic tale of the top-secret U.S. Army’s 23rd Headquarters Special Troops, known as the “Ghost Army,” and their covert operations across Europe that helped win the war, armed with nothing heavier than .50 caliber machine guns. 

This carefully selected group of artists, engineers, professional soldiers, and draftees—the first mobile, multimedia, tactical deception unit in U.S. Army history—saved thousands of lives and played an important part in Allied victory in World War II. 

After our visit we will enjoy family style lunch at Maggiano’s Little Italy. The $97 fee includes museum and exhibits, lunch, and round-trip transportation. This trip departs at 9:00 a.m. and will return after 3:00 p.m.

Christmas Around the World and the Holidays of Light showcases the rich customs of more than 50 countries and cultures. Explore trees and displays decorated by volunteers from Chicago’s diverse communities and learn about holidays from across the globe. 

The $75 fee for this trip includes museum admission, a special entry exhibit, box lunch, and transportation. This trip departs at 9:00 a.m. and will return after 3:00 p.m.
