Biography

Trustee Sylvestre Castellanos was born in Belize, Central America and has made Waukegan his home since 1979. He is a graduate of both Lincoln Technical Institute and Gateway Community College with Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification in Mechanic.

Trustee Castellanos has been married to Lety Castellanos for the past 29 years and is the proud father of two daughters, Jaclyn and Lisa.

Careers

He has been employed at Roquette America for 25 years as a Liquid Operator, Hydrogen Technician and as a Maintenance Specialist where he manages a multi-million dollar parts and sales inventory.

Trustee Castellanos is the owner/operator of a real estate property rental business in Waukegan, co-owner of Rolson Restaurant and Hotel in Belize and during his spare time he enjoys fixing anything that is in need of repair and taking long relaxing walks - mainly with his loving wife.

Membership

A long time member of the Waukegan Township extended family, Trustee Sylvestre, for the past 12 years, has been a steadfast volunteer at Staben House - whether he is repairing items or participating in/attending various events - he finds a way to give back to his community. He is an avid traveler and a very active member of United Belizeans of Northern Illinois.
