LAWN MAINTENANCE / SNOW REMOVAL DRIVER

Seeking experienced, flexible, dependable person to perform lawn maintenance, snow removal and supervision to a crew. Seasonal position and on-call basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 17 Per Hour.
  • Lawn maintenance /snow removal experience.
  • Valid Illinois Driver’s License and clean driving record, required.
  • Excellent communication skills, tactful, courteous, dependable, and team player.
  • Able to work all day under varying climate conditions.

SUMMER YOUTH OPPORTUNITY - YOUTH LAWN MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 40 Hours per week.
  • Must be 18 to 24 years old.
  • Must be of sound physical condition in order to perform heavy manual work in all types of weather and be able to operate a variety of mechanical equipment.

Property Analyst - Waukegan Township Assessor’s Office

Work Schedule: 8:00am – 4:30pm / Monday through Friday

  • Non - Exempt
  • $50,000 - $55,000

Reporting relationshipDeputy Assessor and Residential Appraiser

Summary of duties and responsibilities:

  • Obtain, check, identify, and confirm information on monthly building permits.
  • Create and maintain building permit files.
  • Physically inspect and photograph new or altered construction.
  • Perform data entry in Tyler.
  • Assist the Residential Appraiser in valuation of residential property.
  • Review and prepare evidence for residential Board of Review appeals.
  • Attend Board of Review Hearings.
  • Responsible for understanding, implementing, and improving our use of Tyler.
  • Perform physical inspections for Board of Review hearings, sales, or any other needs.
  • Take photographs for Board of Review hearings, sales, or any other needs.
  • Assist in answering phones and customer service.
  • Other duties as needed.

Education, prior work experience, and specialized skills and knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in an office environment with exposure to word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.  Requires interaction with Spanish speaking taxpayers who may have a limited understanding of the English language or who may speak only Spanish.  Have a valid Illinois driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.  Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.  Excellent punctuality and dependability.  Ability to evaluate and prioritize tasks independently.  Ability to make decisions in accordance with established policies, rules, and guidelines.  Successful completion of the required courses to attain and maintain the designation of Certified Illinois Assessing Officer.
