Waukegan Township is pleased to announce new and expanded services for older adults in Waukegan Township and surrounding Townships. This collaboration is in partnership with AgeGuide. Waukegan Township is now able to offer the Aging and Disability Resource Network (ADRN) at the Patricia A. Jones Center. Townships covered by this collaboration include Waukegan Township, Shields Township, Benton Township, Zion Township, Warren Township, Libertyville Township and Newport Township. This partnership aims to improve access to resources and services for older adults and people with disabilities within these communities.>
The Aging and Disability Resource Network (ADRN) will provide vital support, information, assistance, benefits access, transportation, and Medicare counseling to help people navigate services and supports that help people age well in their communities.
The addition of the collaboration between AgeGuide and Waukegan Township, our Townships are in a good position to continue delivering services and ensuring quality resources for those in need.
