Greetings!

Perhaps the most meaningful and impactful act is to give. Whether time, attention, or otherwise, the act of giving – as proclaimed by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. – should be considered not as a duty, but a privilege.

For the Waukegan Township family, providing quality programs and services to the community is just that – a great privilege. So much so, we are now very proud to present the newly developed 501c3 - Growth Impact Visibility & Expansion Services for Waukegan (G.I.V.E.) 

GROWTH – the process of increasing in physical size/area
IMPACT – to have a strong effect on someone or something
VISIBILITY – the degree to which something has attracted general attention; prominence
EXPANSION – the act of increasing in size, volume, quantity or scope

This non-profit is designed to support, promote, and provide resources to assist residents of the Greater Waukegan area who find themselves unable to navigate through the effects of poverty, disability, incarceration, or advanced age, allowing us to provide even more for those who are unable to provide for themselves.

Social media is, for most, a part of our daily existence in some way or another. Waukegan Township’s social media footprint has been solidified on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and now, we encourage you to catch up with the WT happenings on our newly created YouTube channel!  Now, those who are unable to attend our in-person events don’t have to miss a moment of excitement.
