2nd Annual Hope and Opportunity Resource Fair/Block Party 2025


On Friday, July 18, 2025, Waukegan Township celebrated the success of the 2nd Annual Hope and Opportunity Resource Fair/Block Party, held by the Township along with our valued community partners. Roughly 300 members of our community came together to enjoy a day filled with food, fun, and fellowship, but most importantly, 38 resource providers. This event showcased an array of wonderful resources available to our residents, highlighting the strength of collaboration among local agencies and organizations. For instance, over 100 people received (on-site) utility bill assistance from ComEd. We are grateful to everyone who participated and contributed to making this fair a valuable experience for all attendees.
