Reclaim, Reconnect, Reenter Assistance

The ReEntry program is designed to provide individuals with criminal records with the tools and skills needed to become gainfully employed while reducing recidivism rates in Lake County, IL.

Employment Assistance

Employment Specialist support for assessment and help with job opportunities:

  • Making contacts and locating employers willing to give a second chance.
  • Supportive Services –  State ID, uniforms, tools, transportation allowance, etc.
  • Motivation and rebuilding self-esteem

Legal Help Desk

The Coalition’s Legal Help Desk has volunteer lawyers that offer free legal advice to people with criminal convictions and determine their eligibility for expungement and sealing. 

Hours are 1st Friday of the month from 8:30am–Noon and 3rd Wednesday 12:30 pm-4:00 pm.

Individuals will be seen on a first come, first serve basis at the Waukegan Township office - 149 S. Genesee St., Waukegan, IL. For more information call 847-244-4900.
